As of today, Chris and I have been married for 116 days.
It is crazy that it has been that long, and yet it also feels like it has been a lot longer. We are getting into our own little routine as much as our crazy unpredictable routine will allow us.
I am currently on my (shorted) Christmas break from grad school and am enjoying my time of not studying and having homework hanging over my head at all times. I actually won't have to ever worry about that again...unless I go insane and decide to go back for my doctorate. Starting early January, I will begin my first clinical rotation at an elementary school and will be putting in 40+ hours a week. I will have to do some research and planning at home, but am hoping not having class will give me more time to craft, continue to learn and experiment with cooking, and now blog!
I hope to use this as both a way to keep family and friends updated and also to remember what this time was like years later when Chris and I have this whole marriage thing down pat.
And yes, this really was posted at 3:54 am...I am currently trying to recover from a weekend of holiday and birthday parties when my sleeping schedule was completely thrown off. Chris and I have decided we will not be having 30+ people over to our tiny apartment again unless we cover the floor with trash bags...people are messy eaters.
